About Duke Alums Engage
Duke Alums Engage (DAE) brings alumni, parents, families, and friends together to make a difference in their local communities, inspired by Duke’s commitment to knowledge in service to society.
Through DAE, you can:
- Give back locally by sorting food at a food bank, supporting a nonprofit, joining a neighborhood cleanup, or taking part in another hands-on project.
- Serve together with fellow alumni, parents, friends, and family. Many opportunities welcome children, too—check individual event details for age requirements.
- Learn and reflect on community needs and the impact of your service.
- Build meaningful connections with fellow Blue Devils through a shared commitment to giving back.
When alumni volunteer through Duke Alums Engage, their participation counts toward the engagement goals of Duke’s MADE FOR THIS campaign—helping show the collective impact of Blue Devils serving their communities around the world.
