The Duke Transplant Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Symposium (the “Symposium”) is designed for healthcare professionals in the field of solid organ transplantation with an emphasis on the APP role in the management of transplant patients. This educational event provides updates on current protocols, introduces new and exciting topics in the transplant community, and discusses nationwide projects involving transplant healthcare professionals. Attended by APPs, MDs, PharmDs, nurses, and coordinators from over 40 transplant organizations and centers across the country, the APP Symposium has attracted national recognition and is one of the few APP-focused conferences available in the transplant field.
