Duke Houston Welcomes You
As Duke welcomes our students back to campus, we hope you join fellow Blue Devils on Wednesday, September 30 for our Welcome to the City party! It’s a great opportunity to meet the local Duke community and learn about all that is happening right here.
This year’s party gives you a chance to celebrate Duke, build some new relationships, reconnect with friends, and meet your regional leaders who will be in attendance and can help answer your questions about ways to be engaged in the region and beyond.
Support our Local Community
Duke Houston is proud to support Kids' Meals, an organization dedicated ending childhood hunger by delivering free, healthy meals to the doorsteps of Greater Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children and, through collaboration, providing their families with resources to help end the cycle of poverty.
How you can help
Bring an in-kind donation: Guests attending Welcome to the City are invited to bring items from the Kids' Meals wish list to the event.
Can't attend?
You can still participate. Purchase an item from the Amazon Wish List to support Kids' Meals here. Please check the box "this item is a gift" and add your name and Duke Affiliation (i.e. degree/year or parent) to the Gift Message section.
